Cohoes Police are investigating the shooting of a man on Remsen Street. The initial investigation revealed the man was shot by an occupant of the residence during a suspected home invasion. The unidentified male was transported to Samaritan Hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Cohoes Police say this appears to be an isolated incident and feel there is no known threat to the public.
